Immediately it was confirmed by one of them that he was indeed the one, he was shot and cut with machetes several times. His untimely death came just 24 hours after a fight which ensued between the Skylow and Scorpion gang on Sunday night had led to the death of a Scorpion member in Ekpo Abasi" according to reports.
Sources say that ,the incident was a retaliation from the Skylow in respect of four of their members who had been killed by the Scorpion gang in their last war. As a result ,the gang had planned to take down any Scorpion member around Mayne Avenue ,Ekpo Abasi and Anantigha axis where three teams were laying ambush for any fleeing Scorpion members.
This recent war is suspected to be connected to the murder of one Ecomoc in June due to ticketing competition between gangs after they were indirectly recruited by some government officials via phoney companies serving as revenue collection agencies.
