Tasha Cobbs feat. Nicki Minaj?



So, just recently,the internet has been set on fire following the collaboration between Tasha Cobbs and  Nicki Minaj on one of the tracks on her (Cobbs) just released album "Heart. Passion. Pursuit".The album which was released on August 25th 2017, has triggered  an uproar online among several social media users with everyone expressing their opinion on why both should or should not be in a collaboration.

It's no news that Tasha Cobbs is a well-known gospel artiste and a worshipper and Nicki minaj is a Hip-hop artiste who shot to fame with tracks like "Super Bass" ,"Starships", and "Anaconda".
On the release, the Christian post says, Cobbs released her album on Friday the 25th  August 2017 which featured the rap sensation on the song "I'm Getting Ready". And while both women have been teasing the song for some time, Cobbs took to her Instagram to appreciate Nicki's decision to praise God on the record.

Though, a subdivision of the public believe the we are equal in the sight of God, and being a secular act does not exempt Nicki from singing a gospel song .However, a majority still think it's inappropriate for the duo to be on the same song, and many have gone ahead to say both should have maintained their lanes.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian minister,  Pastor Murphy Ogbe, Resident Pastor The Eternal House of Glory church, in Uyo,Akwa Ibom has shared his opinion stating that "As many as are led by the spirit of God,are the sons of God.It is not as many as are Christians".Gos is spirit and they that worship Him must do so in spirit and in truth,which implies that God is radioactive,not tangible.So if Nick enters into the presence of God where ,the spirit of God can influence her directly or indirectly.
"If she is a sinner and sang a song with Tasha Cobbs,then I believe that the spirit over Tasha will overwrite any spirit which she cme into that studio with.In given time,you will se aresult of what just happened.

Pastor John and Aventer Gray, associate pastors of lakewood church says "he believes that there are no restrictions about who can or who can't worship God.So anyone can worship God.The process of salvation takes time and there is absolutely nothing wrong in Tasha opening her arms to Nicki.

Although,the Bible records that Jesus Christ was criticized for involving himself with the tax collectors and being a friend to sinners. Some think that singing with Nicki Minaj will contaminate her perfection .

On a lighter note,a few days after the release, in a heartfelt message, Tasha sent out a social media post stating why she will always keep Nicki covered in prayer.
This controversy is far from being over ,as many online users are still keep expressing their opinions on what is right or wrong.
